Learned counsel for the petitioner undertakes to remove the defects within four weeks of resumption of normal court proceeding. In the eventuality of non-removal of defects within undertaken period, the office will place the matter before the Bench.

The present application has been filed for modification of order dated 11.03.2022 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 60132 of 2021 to the extent of extending the period of surrender.

On the grounds mentioned in the modification

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.24934 of 2022(2) dt.18-05-2022 2/2 application, the period of surrender is extended by six weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order in connection with Excise Case No. 202 of 2021, pending in the Court learned Special Judge Excise, Muzaffarpur, subject to deposit of sum of Rs.2000/- (Rupees Two Thousand) in the Victim Compensation Fund.

The order dated 11.03.2022 is modified to the extent as indicated above.

Accordingly, this modification application stands disposed of.
