2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest for the offences alleged under Sections 8/20(b)(ii)(c)/22/29 of the Narcotic Drugs & Psychotropic Substances Act registered in connection with Rail Sonpur/Hajipur P.S. Case No. 96 of 2018.

3. It is submitted that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in connection with the alleged recovery of 38 Kg. of Ganja. It is submitted that the petitioner has been implicated merely on the basis of the confessional statement of co-accused Arvind Mahto, except which there is no objective material to connect the petitioner with the alleged occurrence. The petitioner claims clean antecedents.

4. Learned APP opposes the petition. He refers the case diary to submit that the petitioner along with other accused persons are said to have indulged in selling the Ganja.

5. Having regard to the nature of accusations and gravity of offence alleged, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. The anticipatory bail petition stands dismissed. BT/- (Vikash Jain, J) U T
