JUSTICE KISHORE KUMAR MANDAL ORAL ORDER 10-08-2016 Heard the counsel for the petitioner and the State. The petitioner seeks anticipatory bail in Hulas Ganj P.S. Case No. 19 of 2016 registered under section 307 IPC. The allegation is that, on the relevant date, while the informant was at his house, the petitioner and other accused persons armed with deadly weapons, entered into the house of the informant and assaulted him with Khanti on the head whereas another accused assaulted him on the hand. When the son of the informant came to his rescue, the former was given Khanti blow by the petitioner and other accused persons.

The contention of the petitioner is that the petitioner had also lodged a case against the present prosecution side for allegedly assaulting him and his son. On a trivial issue both

Learned APP opposed the prayer and submitted that the allegation is of assaulting the informant and his son with Khanti. The injuries sustained by the informant and his son support the allegation.

Considering the allegations levelled against the petitioner, I am not inclined to grant the privilege of anticipatory bail. Prayer is rejected.
