2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Jamui P.S. Case No. 549/2025 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 140(2), 61(2) and 3(5) of B.N.S.

3. As per the prosecution case, petitioner and others are alleged to have kidnapped the victim boy.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has falsely been implicated in the case. Learned counsel further submits that he has eight criminal antecedents and he is in custody since 25.09.2025. The petitioner undertakes to co-operate in the case/ trial.

5. Learned APP for the State has opposed the prayer for regular bail of the petitioner on the ground that the petitioner

6. Considering that the petitioner had given a selfinculpatory statement which corroborates to the prosecution's version with regard to the call made from the mobile phone of one of the co-accused, namely, Ranjan to the mobile phone of the petitioner and also considering that the petitioner is involved in the crime, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
