It is stated by Mr. Bhanu Pratap Singh, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner that by passage of time the issue raised has practically become academic also for the reason that the next election to the Gram Panchayat is scheduled within a couple of months. He further submits that even the bye-election has taken place and the new Mukhiya is on the seat.

In the circumstances discussed, the writ petition is disposed of as not pressed.
