JUSTICE SATYAVRAT VERMA ORAL ORDER 11-11-2022 Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned A.P.P. for the State, Chandra Bhushan Prasad The petitioners apprehend their arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 406, 409, 420, 467, 468, 471 and 120B of the Indian Penal Code. The informant alleges that several accused received wrong payments in lieu of land acquisition made for Gandak Project, Muzaffarpur.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioners are persons with clean antecedent and petitioner No. 1 is a women aged about 70 years. Learned counsel further submits that petitioners have been falsely implicated in the

No.25418 of 2022(2) dt.11-11-2022 2/3 present case, it is next submitted that even the land of the petitioner were acquired for the said project for which the compensation was awarded but the informant in order to cover up the mischiefs of the land acquisition officer has falsely instituted the present case, it is next submitted that whatever compensation was received, was received after due calculation and by the authorities of the State. It is further submitted that similarly situated co-accused have been granted anticipatory bail by Annexure 3 series i.e., Sanjay Kumar Gupta and others have been granted anticipatory bail by order dated 7.06.2017 in Criminal Misc. No. 22900 of 2017 and Md. Shabir Shah has been granted bail by order dated 26.06.2018 in Criminal Misc. No. 27748 of 2018.
Learned A.P.P. for the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioners.
Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioners, the petitioners above-named, in the event of their arrest or surrender before the learned trial court within a period of six weeks from today, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned trial court where
