JUSTICE KISHORE KUMAR MANDAL ORAL ORDER 20-09-2016 The petitioner is a framer and prays for a direction upon the concerned respondents-State for providing him subsidy or grant-in-aid in terms of the decision of the State Government. Indisputably, it is not a case where there is any violation of the constitutional provision or statutory right. The petitioner has also prayed for adequate compensation. In a matter like this, the Court shall be reluctant to invoke extraordinary and discretionary writ jurisdiction.

The counsel for the petitioner after making submissions at some length submits that the application be permitted to be withdrawn enabling the petitioner to ventilate his grievance
