Counter-affidavit has been filed on behalf of the respondents stating therein that the grievance of the petitioner has been redressed as payment of Rs. 4,57,942/- has already been made to the petitioner after making deduction of Rs. 63,564/- towards tax. It is, therefore, submitted that the writ petition appears to have become infructuous.
