The petitioner in the present case is seeking pre-arrest bail in connection with Nawada P.S. Case No. 63 of 2022 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 66E, 67, 66D of the Information Technology Act and Sections 354, 504 of the Indian Penal Code. He has got no criminal antecedent. As per the prosecution story, the informant's daughter became friend with this petitioner on social media in the year 2018 and subsequently due to development of intimacy between them, they shared their private intimate photos. After the petitioner declined to marry with the informant's daughter, she was married to some other person in December, 2021 whereafter the petitioner started harassing her by sharing her private photos with her family members and threatened to make the same viral

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case.
Learned APP for the State has opposed the anticipatory bail of the petitioner. It is submitted that the petitioner is indulged in blackmailing the victim and her family. Having regard to the seriousness of the allegation alleging that this petitioner has sent nude pictures of the victim girl to her family and is indulged in blackmailing the victim and her family, this Court is not inclined to grant privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
Prayer is refused.
This application stands dismissed.
In case the petitioner surrenders and prays for regular bail within a period of four weeks from today, his prayer shall be considered on its own merit without being prejudiced by the order of this Court.
