The present writ application has been filed for a direction upon the respondent authorities to pay the salary of the petitioner from May, 2020 to March, 2021 and onwards, who was appointed on contractual basis on the post of Office Assistant with PR background and the engagement was extended time to time.

In view of the genuine grievance of the petitioner, I deem

Patna High Court CWJC No.10955 of 2021(4) dt.03-09-2024 2/2 it fit to grant liberty to the petitioner to approach the Registrar, Purnea University, Purnea (respondent no.5) by filing a detailed fresh representation within a period of four weeks from today. 4.

It is needless to say that on receipt of representation of the petitioner, the respondent no.5 shall pass a reasoned and a speaking order, in accordance with law, after hearing the petitioner or his counsel within a period of one month thereafter. 5.

It is made clear that if an order is not passed within the stipulated period, respondent no.5 shall be personally held responsible for non-compliance of the order of this Court. 6.

With the aforesaid direction, the present writ application is disposed of.
