JUSTICE SAMARENDRA PRATAP SINGH ORAL ORDER 21-08-2015 The petitioner submits that he has wrongly been charged Rs.1,36,423/- for committing theft of energy for which Kankarbagh Police station Case No. 33 of 2012 dated 25.1.2012 has also been instituted.

The writ petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to take resort to the remedy of appeal under the Electricity Act.

The appellate authority would condone the delay in filing the appeal if filed within a month, as the petitioner was pursuing the remedy before this court.

It goes without saying that any money deposited by the
