Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State. The petitioner prays for grant of anticipatory bail in Azamnagar (Salmari O.P.) P.S. Case No. 289/2020 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 302/201 of the Indian Penal Code.

Petitioner is the accused of killing a person and chargesheet has been submitted against him along with others. Other accused persons are facing trial and out of six witnesses, five witnesses have been examined.

The petitioner is not facing the trial because he is absconding.
