In this case, the petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Alauli P.S. Case No. 237 of 2016 registered for offences under sections 366, 372, 506/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

An allegation has been made that the petitioner and other co-accused persons have taken away the 14 years old daughter of the Informant. The statement of the victim girl under Section 164 of the Cr.P.C. shows that she had gone to the house of her maternal grand mother (Nani) and, thereafter, she has got married with the petitioner in the temple of lord Shiva at Beldaur. Case No. 237 of 2016, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C.
