2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under Section 47(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

3. As per prosecution case, 1200 litres illicit liquor was recovered from bank of a river. Name of petitioner transpired during course of investigation and he has got four criminal antecedents of similar nature.
