2. The present Writ Petition has been filed for the following reliefs:- "...... for issuance of writ/writs, order/orders, direction/directions to the concerned respondents to give electric connection for which the petitioner had requested vide Request No. 52224577302 with its acknowledgment No.
11614577315."
3. In the counter affidavit filed by the Respondent Nos. 1 to 3, at Paragraph No. 7 it is stated as under:- "7. That it is further submitted that, at present, if the petitioner submits a fresh application for a new electricity
Patna High Court CWJC No.6952 of 2025(2) dt.29-07-2025 2/2 connection through the Suvidha App, and provided that the relevant documents and mobile number submitted are correct and verifiable, the electricity connection shall be granted in accordance with the prevailing departmental rules and regulations."

Having regard to the above, the present writ petition is disposed of granting liberty to the petitioner to give a fresh application for a new electricity connection through Suvidha App within a period of two weeks from today. On such application being made, the authority shall consider the same and pass necessary orders for granting electric connection to the petitioner. The entire exercise shall be completed as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of the online application by the petitioner. Any order passed shall be communicated to the party.
5. With the above directions, the present Writ Petition stands disposed of.
