JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 15-09-2023 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following reliefs:- "1.(i) For issuance of a writ in the nature of Mandamus, commanding the respondents to appoint the petitioner on the post of Kishan Salahkar in Supaul District as per merit/selection list which was published by the District Agriculture Office, Supaul, under signature of Agriculture Officer, Supaul (Annexue-1) (ii) For that petitioner selected on the basis of his merit (55.33% marks in Intermediate Science)
Patna High Court CWJC No.17350 of 2015(2) dt.15-09-2023 2/2 Biology and his name is figured in Merit/Selection list on Serial No.
247. He belongs to category of Backward class also. (Annexure-1) (iii) For that there are 12 post of Kishan Salahkar of different category in Supaul District is still vacant (Annexure-3)."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to avail such other alternative remedies as are otherwise available under the law, for redressal of the aforesaid grievances. Liberty, so sought, is granted.

The writ petition stands dismissed as not pressed.
