By this writ petition, petitioner challenges the order, dated 23.11.2011, whereby he was directed to show cause, if any, as to why an order of suspension shall not be passed against him and, pending the petitioner's reply thereto, his salary for one day, i.e., 12.11.2011, was withheld. Later, in terms of letter No.1723, dated 19.02.2015, issued by the Officer on Special Duty-cumDirector, Finance Department, Bihar, Patna, it has been directed
Patna High Court CWJC No.21504 of 2011 (4) dt.20-03-2015 2/2 by the Finance Department, Government of Bihar, that the petitioner shall be paid his salary for one day. The writ petition is sought to be withdrawn with a direction to the respondents to make payment of his salary for one day, i.e., 12.11.2011, within a reasonable period of time. Considering the matter in entirety and in the interest of justice, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent no.4 to make payment of one day's withheld salary to the petitioner, within three months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order before respondent no.3.
