The petitioners apprehend their arrest in connection with Rajoun P.S. Case No.250 of 2016, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 341, 323, 379, 504, 506 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The petitioners are said to have assaulted the informant by means of danda causing injuries on his head and hand. It is alleged that the petitioners also took away Rs.500/- from the informant.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are innocent and have falsely been implicated in the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.25932 of 2022(2) dt.01-09-2022 2/2 present case. The petitioners have got one criminal antecedent as stated in paragraph-3 of the bail application. It is further submitted that there is case and counter case between the parties and both sides sustained injuries.

Learned APP for the State opposed the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioners and submitted that the injuries are grievous in nature.

Taking into consideration the fact that the injuries are grievous in nature, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioners on anticipatory bail. Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioners is rejected.
