In the present writ petition, petitioner is seeking relief for payment of bonus/incentive for early completion of work. Petitioner was awarded the work in turn entered into agreement which he has completed before due date and in such circumstances he is claiming that he should be given bonus/incentive in terms of the scheme framed by the State Government which provides if the contractor completes his work before stipulation of time he will be awarded bonus/incentive 1%
Patna High Court CWJC No.17526 of 2015 dt.17-02-2017 to 5%.
In such view of the matter, petitioner is directed to file proper representation to the General Manager, Bihar State Building Construction Corporation, Ltd. Patna who will consider the case of the petitioner and if he finds that petitioner has completed the work before due date and scheme provides such bonus/incentive he will release the same in terms of the scheme framed by the State Government.
With the aforesaid observation and direction this writ petition is disposed of.
