The petitioners apprehend their arrest in Complaint Case No.5477 (C) of 2017 for the offences allegedly committed by the petitioners under Section 387 of the Indian Penal Code. The complainant, in sum and substance, alleged that the petitioners wanted to grab the land of the complainant situated in his native village. The petitioners are alleged to have threatened the complainant and demanded ransom of Rs.50 lacs. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the allegations are false and concocted. Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.29903 of 2019(2) dt.08-05-2019 2/2 Ram Pravesh Prasad and Krishna Prasad sons of Late Mahaveer Ram. Pahari Ram had two sons, namely, Ram Jatan Ram and Mahaveer Ram and both were living separately. The vendors of the petitioners are the sons of Mahaveer Ram and the complainant is the son of Ram Jatan Ram. The complainant wanted to grab the land of his cousins. The petitioners are bonafide purchasers. Having considered the facts aforesaid, the above named petitioners, in the event of their arrest or surrender before the learned court below within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, are directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned A.C.J.M. XVII, Patna in connection with Complaint Case No.5477 (C) of 2017, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438 (2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
