The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 273 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 47(A) of the Bihar Excise (Amendment) Act, 2016.
Learend counsel for the petitioner submits that no recovery has been made from the conscious possession of the petitioner and only on the basis of the confessional statement of one Laltu Kumar, who was arrested from the place of occurrence, the name of this petitioner has surfaced which has no evidentiary value.
