Mr. Sahailendra Kumar =========================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE AJAY KUMAR TRIPATHI ORAL JUDGMENT Date: 06-05-2016 Heard learned counsels for the parties.

Petitioner claims himself to be a former employee of the Bihar State Food and Civil Supplies Corporation. He superannuated from the post of a Jeep Driver on 31.12.2012. He was last posted at Katoria under the District Manager, State Food and Civil Supplies Corporation, Banka. Since then, he has been knocking at the doors of the respondents for settlement of his post-retirement claims, but

Patna High Court CWJC No.19330 of 2014 dt.06-05-2016 2/2 nothing has been done till date. It is rather unfortunate that the writ application, which is pending since last two years has also not been responded to by the State Corporation, despite time having been granted earlier for filing counter affidavit. The Court, therefore, is left with no option, but to direct the District Manager, State Food and Civil Supplies Corporation, Banka that he will take cognizance of the claim of the petitioner and settle the same within a period of three months from the date of communication / production of a copy of this order. The Managing Director, Bihar State Food and Civil Supplies Corporation is also directed to monitor the issue to see that the Court's order is carried out in letter and spirit or else the Court will hold him also responsible for default on the part of the District Manager, Banka, since the petitioner has superannuated in the year 2012 and has been harassed enough.

Writ application is disposed off with observation and direction as above.
