The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 448, 342, 323, 504, 506, 353 and 387 of the Indian Penal Code. The prosecution case is that the petitioner has demanded Rs.10,000/- as extortion from the informant being the Headmaster of the school and ultimately realized Rs.5237/-. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that since the petitioner made complaint against the Headmaster for committing irregularity in the Mid-day Meal scheme and other schemes, hence, as a retaliatory measure the

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.54880 of 2015 (2) dt.04-12-2015 2/2 present case has been lodged. Subsequently the informant has retracted from the initial version and filed a petition to that effect before the learned court below.

The aforesaid facts constitute ground for consideration of prayer for regular bail, if the petitioner surrenders before the learned court below within a period of six weeks from today in connection with Begusarai Muffasil P.S. Case No. 262 of 2015 pending in the court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Begusarai.

With the aforesaid observation, this application is disposed of.
