2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Khutona P.S. Case No. 148 of 2023 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 406/420 of the Indian Penal Code to which later on Section 409 of the IPC was added.

3. The petitioner is accused of misappropriating Rs. 4,91,835/-. He is in jail since 29.11.2023.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner was the Manager in the Flip-cart Company and he has been falsely implicated in the present case. The shortage is due to the fault of the delivery boy and not because of the petitioner. The police has not investigated the case

5. Learned APP appearing for the State opposes the prayer for regular bail of the petitioner.

6. Considering the period of custody, this application is allowed.

7. Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned J.M.-1st Class, Jhanjharpur / Successor Court in connection with Khutona P.S. Case No. 148 of 2023.
