The petitioner seeks pre-arrest bail in connection with Complaint Case No. 105 of 2014 in which cognizance has been taken for the offence punishable under Section 420 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881.

Regard being had to the allegation that the petitioner

No.49291 of 2015 (3) dt.23-02-2016 2/2 cheated the complainant to the tune of Rs.15,00,000/-, and the cheques issued in this regard, got dishonored on their presentation due to insufficiency of funds as also the fact that the petitioner is involved in at least five other cases of identical nature, I am not inclined to grant him anticipatory bail.
