The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for offences punishable under Sections 341, 323, 498 (A) and 34 of the Indian Penal Code and 3⁄4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.
As per the allegation, soon after the marriage according to the Muslim rites on 16.02.2013, in-laws started torturing the informant. Thereafter, the "Panchayati" was held but it is alleged that the Punches took her signature on plain stamp paper. It is contended on behalf of the petitioner that Annexure 2, the Punchnama shows that there was "Panchayati" between the parties to which the informant has also agreed.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, let the abovenamed petitioner be released on bail in the event of arrest/surrender before the court below within a period of six weeks from today in Mahila P.S. Case No. 105 of 2016, on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000 (Ten Thousand Rupees) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of S.D.J.M., Madhubani subject to the conditions as laid down under sub-section(2) of Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
