Petitioners are apprehending their arrest in connection with Complaint Case No.702C of 2018 , registered for offences punishable under Sections 323, 506, 387, 379 and 354(B) of the Indian Penal Code.

Allegation against the petitioners is that they came variously armed stooped the tractor of the complainant and demanded Rs.10,000/- as rangdari, on which Rs.5,000/- was paid and there is also allegation of outraging her modesty as well as snatching of ear-rings and Rs.15,000/-. Submission of the learned counsel for the petitioners is

No.22787 of 2019(5) dt.01-08-2019 2/2 that there is delay of four days in lodging the complaint petition and prior to that a complaint case had been lodged by the wife of the petitioner no.1 against the complainant and others also under Section 354A and other Sections of the Indian Penal Code. Allegation of assault and the allegation of misbehavior appear to be ornamental in nature. Heard learned A.P.P. also.

Having heard both sides and in view of the facts and circumstances, as stated above, let the petitioners, above named, in the event of arrest or surrender before the learned court below, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (Twenty Five Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Sri M.K. Pandey, J.M. Ist class, Jamui in connection with Complainant Case No.702(C ) of 2018, subject to conditions as laid down under Section 438 (2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
