24.08.2020 Heard Mr. Praveen Kumar Agrawal, learned counsel for the petitioners and learned APP for the State.

The petitioners seek bail in anticipation of their arrest in connection with Alamnagar (Ratwara O.P.) P. S. Case No. 2 of 2020, dated 02.01.2020, instituted for the offences under Sections 436/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The petitioners and others are alleged to have

set fire to the dwelling house of the informant. The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the F.I.R. has been lodged after two days of the occurrence and there is a long pending dispute between the parties. Because of such dispute standing for about 24 years, the present case has been lodged.

The petitioners are persons of clean antecedents.

The learned counsel for the petitioners has submitted that only because of enmity, the aforesaid allegation has been levelled without there being any proof of the factum of destruction of certain equipments said to be kept in the house of the informant. Regard being had to the nature of accusation against the petitioners, they, in the event of their arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of eight weeks, are directed to be released on bail on their furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) each with two sureties of the
