JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 24-09-2020 The present petition has been taken up for consideration through the mode of Video Conferencing in view of the prevailing situation on account of COVID-19 Pandemic. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Prem Kr. Jha, the learned APP for the State.

The present petition has been filed for extending the time granted by this Court for surrendering before the learned court below vide order dated 28.02.2020, passed in Cr. Misc. no. 8739 of 2020.

The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that on account of the difficulties having arisen due to the spread of Covid-19 Pandemic, the petitioner could not furnish his bail bonds within the time frame, hence it is prayed that the time for

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.22062 of 2020(2) dt.24-09-2020 2/2 surrendering, as granted by this Court earlier, be extended. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of this case and considering the averments made in the present petition, I deem it fit and appropriate to extend the time granted to the petitioner to surrender before the learned court below by a further period of four weeks from today.

The order dated 28.02.2020, passed in Cr. Misc. no. 8739 of 2020 stands modified to the aforesaid extent. The petition stands disposed off.
