The petitioners apprehend their arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 323, 379, 504 and 498(A) of the Indian Penal Code read with Sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are persons with clean antecedent and being fatherin-law and mother-in-law of the complainant have been falsely implicated in the present case alleging that the dowry was being demanded and torture was meted out to the complainant. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the

No.25247 of 2023(2) dt.05-07-2023 2/2 petitioners have been falsely implicated in the present case, it is further submitted that the allegation of demand of dowry and torture is general and omnibus in nature. It is next submitted that the husband of the complainant is also availing his remedies available in law and has filed his anticipatory bail application before the learned District Court. Learned counsel submits that whenever a dispute between the husband and wife arises, the entire family members are implicated.

Learned A.P.P. for the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioners.

Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioners, the petitioners above-named, in the event of their arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of six weeks from today, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned court below where the case is pending/successor court in connection with C.R. Case No. 499 of 2017 subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438 (2) of the Cr.P.C.
