In this case, the petitioner is seeking anticipatory bail in connection with Tekari P.S. Case No.394 of 2016, registered for the offence punishable under Sections 25(1-B) a, 26 and 35 of the Arms Act.

Allegation has been made that police has intercepted the motorcycle and upon search, one country made pistol with five cartridges were recovered. The petitioner managed to flee away, but co-accused has been arrested.

Looking to the nature of allegation, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer for bail is rejected.
