Neither the Counsel for the respondents appeared on call nor any counter affidavit has been filed.

The land of the petitioner measuring an area of 60' X 30' in survey plot no. 393, Khata no. 129 situated at Singriyawan in the district of Patna has been used by the respondent Power Grid Corporation of India (for short 'the Corporation') without paying compensation therefor. The application seeks a direction upon the respondents, particularly, the Corporation to pay Compensation/damage due to the petitioner for use of the land for construction of high voltage poles.

Patna High Court CWJC No.15669 of 2012 dt.07-12-2015 2/2 Counsel for the petitioner has submitted that a representation (Annexure-2) has been filed in this regard which has not till date been disposed of by the Managing Director or any other competent authority of the Corporation.

Considering the above, the writ application is disposed of by directing the petitioner to file a fresh same application before the respondent no. 2 within four weeks whereafter the said respondent shall examine the grievance of the petitioner and take appropriate decision thereon in accordance with law within a maximum period of four weeks therefrom. The reasoned order passed by the respondent Managing Director of the Corporation shall be communicated to the petitioner.
