JUSTICE ASHWANI KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 20-07-2017 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.

The petitioner seeks pre-arrest bail in connection with Wazirganj P. S. Case No. 87 of 2016 registered under Sections 272 and 273 of the Indian Penal Code and 47(a) of the Excise Act. Regard being had to the recovery of several cartons of illicit liquor from the house of the petitioner, I am not inclined to grant him pre-arrest bail. Accordingly, his application for grant of pre-arrest bail is rejected.

In case the petitioner surrenders and seeks bail, the same shall be considered on its own merit without being prejudiced in any manner by this order.
