====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE PRABHAT KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 11-05-2026 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State.

2. Petitioner apprehends arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 126(2), 115(2), 118(1), 109(1), 132, 352, 351(1) and 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.

3. The case of the prosecution, in brief, is that on 26.09.2025, all the F.I.R. named accused persons including this petitioner, variously armed, came and brutally assaulted informant by means of knife and snatched mobile from him and forcibly made his video and started blackmailing him.

4. It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case due to longstanding monetary dispute. Allegation of assault

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.25476 of 2026(3) dt.11-05-2026 2/2 is general and omnibus against the petitioner and injuries sustained by the injured are simple in nature. Rest of the allegations are ornamental in nature to make the case grave.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State vehemently opposed the bail application.

6. Considering backdrop of the case, nature of accusation and injury, this anticipatory bail is allowed and it is ordered that let the above named petitioner in the event of his arrest/surrender before the court below within a period of eight weeks from today, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Chief Judicial Magistrate, East Champaran, Motihari in connection with Chhatauni P. S. Case No. 566 of 2026, subject to condition as laid down under Section 482(2) of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023.
