The petitioner seeks bail in Jehanabad P.S. Case No. 923/2018, instituted for offence under Section(s) 364(A) of the Indian Penal Code.
Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that F.I.R. has been lodged by the wife of victim. It is alleged in the written report that on 18.11.2018, husband of informant informed her on telephone that he has been arrested by the police. He asked the informant to arrange Rs. 10 lacs till 6 A.M. as ransom otherwise he would be shot dead. It is further alleged that petitioner was also with him. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that there is no allegation against this petitioner that he had made
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.25062 of 2019(2) dt.22-04-2019 2/2 demand of ransom. It has been submitted that compromise petition has been filed before the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Jehanabad stating therein that petitioner has no role in the aforesaid occurrence.
Petitioner is in custody since 20.11.2018.
Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, prayer of the petitioner for grant of bail is allowed. Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Jehanabad, in connection with Jehanabad P.S. Case No. 923/2018, subject to the conditions that both the bailors shall be the close relative of the petitioner. (Sanjay Priya, J) rakhi/- U T
