On the Fardbeyan of father of deceased, this case has been registered having an allegation that his son (deceased) Ajay Kumar Mahto @ Saka has been assaulted at the house of Abhishek Kumar Jha by means of fire arm and further has been taken to DMCH where he is going under treatment. After arrival at DMCH, Abhishek has disclosed that as soon as deceased came out from his house, Shashi Ranjan Singh, Chhotu Singh and Vikash Choudhary along with 3-4 unknown persons attacked upon him and brutally assaulted with knife as well as also fired upon him. Abhishek Jha has been examined under para-8 of the case diary who did not specify against any of the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.23657 of 2019(4) dt.17-08-2019 2/2 accused. Moreover, one of the accused, namely, Shashi Ranjan Singh has been granted bail vide order dated 23.04.2019 under Cr.Misc. No. 6073/2019.

Consequent thereupon, petitioner, CHHOTU SINGH @ PRIYA RANJAN SINGH is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Darbhanga in connection with Laheriasarai PS Case No. 400/2018.
