The petitioner seeks pre-arrest bail in connection with Jehanabad P. S. Case No. 861 of 2017 registered under Sections 379 and 511 of the Indian Penal Code.
Considering the statement of co-accused Akash Kumar, who was apprehended while trying to take away a motorcycle parked in the court campus by using master key said to have been given to him by the petitioner, who managed to escape by seeing the police party, I am not inclined to grant him pre-arrest bail. Accordingly, the application for grant of prearrest bail is rejected.
