The petitioner seeks pre-arrest bail in connection with Barachatty (Mohanpur) P.S. Case No. 309/2015 registered under Section 392 of the Indian Penal Code.

Regard being had to the fact that the name of the petitioner transpired in course of investigation and pursuant to a raid conducted in the house of the petitioner one country-made pistol with live cartridges was recovered, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the application for anticipatory bail is rejected.
