2. The present writ petition has been filed for a direction to the respondent authorities to produce the rejection order of the petitioner's technical bid with respect to tender published in Hindi Daily newspaper, namely, 'Hindustan' dated 15.02.2013 regarding
Patna High Court CWJC No.14535 of 2013 dt.10-09-2018 2/2 transportation of food grains in Bihar, published by Bihar State Food and Civil Supplies Corporation Limited and to restrain the respondent no.-8 from continuing the transporting work beyond the period of three years awarded to him for the period February 2010 to February, 2013; and for connected reliefs.
3. At the very outset itself, learned counsel for the respondent-Corporation submits that the present writ petition has become infructuous by efflux of time. The tender contemplated that the transport work had to be done for a period of only three years and the said period has already expired. It is stated that fresh tender has since been issued in 2018 and the transport work has been awarded to a third party.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner appears and has been heard.
5. Having regard to the stand of the respondent-Corporation, the writ petition stands dismissed.
