The petitioner is in custody in connection with L.N.M.U. P.S. Case No. 283 of 2018 for the offences under Sections 399 and 402 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 25(1-B)A, 26, 35 of Arms Act.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent and he is in custody since 04.12.2018. He further submits that allegation against this petitioner is that on search one country made pistol and four live cartridges were recovered from the possession of the petitioner.
