Heard the parties.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that during the pendency of this writ application, an important development has taken place whereby vide Memo No. R/PPU/931/26 dated 30.05.2026, a notification has been issued by the respondent-Patliputra University by which the petitioner has been transferred as the regular Principal of College of Commerce, Arts and Science, Patna which has already taken effect from the date of issuance of the notification. He further submits that in light of this notification, the petitioner is now working as the regular Principal of the said college.
3. In light of this important development that has taken place during the pendency of the writ application, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the grievance of the
Patna High Court CWJC No.4245 of 2026(6) dt.22-06-2026 3/3 petitioner now stands fully redressed and therefore, no purpose would be served in pursuing with the writ application and hence, he prays for withdrawing the same.
4. Learned counsel for the respondent-State and learned counsel for the respondent-University have no objection to the submission made by learned counsel for the petitioner.
5. As prayed for, this writ application is disposed of as withdrawn in light of the aforesaid submission made by learned counsel for the petitioner.
6. A copy of the notification bearing Memo No. R/PPU/931/26 dated 30.05.2026 has been brought in Court, which is taken on record.
MJC No. 926 of 2026.
7. In view of the submission made by learned counsel for the petitioner that the grievance of the petitioner stands fully redressed, no purpose would be served in pursuing with this contempt application as well and hence, it is accordingly disposed of.
