2. The petitioner is apprehending arrest in connection with Kadamkuan P.S. Case No. 477 of 2024 instituted under Sections 498(A), 494 of the Indian Penal Code lodged on 27.06.2024 by the informant, Panna Lal Prasad.

3. As per the prosecution story, the informant alleged that the daughter was married to the petitioner but later he solemnized second marriage and thereafter torture started. When the informant went to the in-laws house despite best of effort, could not locate her. However, he called the lady by name, could hear the screams and found the room to be locked. As the family members of the petitioner failed to open the door, the Police was

4. The informant has appeared and he has shown the photographs how the petitioner tortured the lady inasmuch as one can see the skeleton of the lady and the second photo which is of the present day, the Court can see her to be a physically fit lady. The Court is perturbed as to how a person much less the petitioner who claims to be the husband of the lady can torture her so much that she was on the verge of leaving this world.

5. Considering the aforesaid facts, no relief can be granted to the petitioner. The anticipatory bail application stands rejected.

6. The interim protection granted to the petitioner earlier stands vacated.
