JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 15-11-2022 The limited prayer of the petitioner in the present case is to direct the authorities of the Registration Office, Danapur, Patna, to refund the stamp duty and registration charges deposited by the petitioner inasmuch as the instrument in question has not yet been registered on account of certain restrictions. It is stated that the petitioner has already filed a petition dated 07.04.2021, before the Incharge Officer, Refund Section, Patna, which has been annexed as Annexure-4 to the present writ petition.
Patna High Court CWJC No.11143 of 2021(2) dt.15-11-2022 2/2 Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, I deem it fit and proper to dispose off the present writ petition with liberty to the petitioner to file fresh petition before the appropriate authority of the Registration Office, Danapur, Patna, for refund of the stamp duty and registration charges, in accordance with the prescribed procedure and in case such a petition is filed within a period of two weeks from today, appropriate orders shall be passed thereon, in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks, thereafter. The writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
