1. The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):- "1(A) For Quashing the Combined Preliminary Examination result published on 02.02.2022 as contained in Annexure 3 series against the advertisement no. 03/2020 for the recruitment to the post of Police Sub Inspector and Sergeant mainly on the reason the petitioner who has obtained above the cut off score i,e, 40.8% in the category of EWS has not been declared successful in the Combined Preliminary Examination.

(B) Also for commanding the respondents to not conduct the Mains Examination against the

Patna High Court CWJC No.6873 of 2022(2) dt.12-12-2023 2/2 advertisement no. 03/2020 for the recruitment to the post of Police Sub Inspector and Sergeant which is to be held on 24.04.2022.

(C) Also for commanding the respondents to produce the OMR sheet of the petitioner which was asked under Right to Information Act, 2005 by the petitioner.

(D) Also for directing the respondents to communicate decision upon the representation made by the petitioner on 12.03.2022 as contained in Annexure 5.

(E) Also to declare any appointment made against the advertisement no. 03/2020 to the post of Police Sub Inspector and Sergeant is illegal, void and bad-in-law."

2. At the outset, the learned counsel for the respondents has submitted that the mains examination has been held longback and then the appointments have also been made, hence the present writ petition has been rendered infructuous.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that if that be the case, the present writ petition be disposed off.

4. Accordingly, the present writ petition stands disposed off.
