The present petition has been filed seeking the following reliefs :- "(i) For issuance of a writ(s) in the nature of mandamus or any other appropriate writ(s), order(s) or direction(s) commanding the respondent to place the petitioner in a pay scale of Rs. 425-805 instead of Rs.350-$25 and its replacement pay scale pursuant to pay revisions since the petitioner was appointed on the post of Driver whereas he has been paid the pay scale of Peon in the Day scale of Rs. 350-425 and its replacement scales.

(ii) For issuance of a writ(s) in the nature of

Patna High Court CWJC No.17123 of 2015(2) dt.15-09-2023 2/2 mandamus or any other appropriate writ(s), order(s) or direction(s) commanding the respondent to direct the respondents to pay the differences of salary to the petitioner with effect from the date of his appointment and joining in a pay scale of Rs.425-605 after placing the petitioner in a pay scale of Rs.425-605 with effect from the date of his joining i.e. from 29.03.1988."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to approach the respondent authorities for redressal of his subsisting grievances, if any. Liberty so sought, is granted.
