The petitioner seeks bail in Mahkar P.S. Case No. 11 of 2020, registered for the offence punishable under Sections 302/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

As per the prosecution case, this petitioner along with other co-accused persons killed the daughter of informant due to non-fulfillment of demand of dowry.

It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that petitioner is unmarried sister-in-law (Nanad) of the deceased. In fact, the deceased has committed suicide. There is general and omnibus allegation and no specific overt act has been alleged against this petitioner. Petitioner is in custody since 24.02.2021 having no criminal antecedent. Investigation is complete. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.36259 of 2021(2) dt.09-12-2021 2/2 and the fact that petitioner is unmarried sister-in-law of the deceased and there is general and omnibus allegation, the petitioner above-named, is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate Ist Class, Gaya in connection with Mahkar P.S. Case No. 11 of 2020.
