2. The petitioner apprehends arrest in connection with Hayaghat P.S. Case No. 5 of 2024 instituted under Sections 302/34 of the Indian Penal Code.
3. As per the prosecution case, the petitioner is said to have pressed the neck of the deceased and killed him.
4. Learned A.P.P. for the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner.
5. Since the petitioner is accused of killing a person, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

6. Accordingly, the application stands dismissed.
7. If the petitioner surrenders and prays for regular bail, the Court below shall consider the same in accordance with law.
