JUSTICE PRABHAT KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 25-10-2021 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State. The petitioner seeks regular bail in Lalganj Police Station Case No. 274 of 2019 registered for the offences punishable under sections 365, 366, 498 of the Indian Penal Code.
As per the prosecution case, the petitioner is alleged to have taken away the daughter-in-law of the informant with intention to marry with her.
Learned counsel for the petitioner while denying the allegation submits that the prosecution case is false and concocted. Victim lady is major and she herself fled away due to pressure exerted by the informant. Petitioner has got clean antecedent as stated in paragraph 3 of the bail petition. Petitioner is in custody since 17.1.2021.

No.34964 of 2021(3) dt.25-10-2021 2/2 Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer for bail and submits that the victim in her section 164 Cr.P.C. statement has alleged that the petitioner called her on mobile phone at the door of the house. Thereafter he entered her house on the point of pistol, took ornaments and cash, assaulted her, took her with him, made indecent film and then left her on the road.
In view of the nature and gravity of allegation against the petitioner, his prayer for bail is refused. (Prabhat Kumar Singh, J) shashi/- U T
