JUSTICE ASHWANI KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 19-09-2017 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State. The petitioner seeks pre-arrest bail in connection with Bettiah Town P. S. Case No. 718 of 2016 registered under Sections 20, 23, 25, 27(A), 29 of the Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act.

Regard being had to the allegation that 200 gm smack was recovered from the possession of co-accused Md. Saheb, who disclosed the name of the petitioner as one of the persons involved in commission of the offence as also the provision prescribed under Section 37 of the Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, I am not inclined to grant

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.41593 of 2017 (2) dt.19-09-2017 2/2 pre-arrest bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the application for grant of pre-arrest bail is rejected.
