Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 149, 341, 323, 324, 307, 504, 506 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act.

Petitioner allegedly caused firearm injury at the thigh of the informant. Initially, the police submitted final form in this case. However, on complaint to the higher authority, the matter was re-investigated and the Medical Board was constituted to examine the injury on the person of the injured, who found injury on the right thigh with fracture of the right femur shaft. The injury was grievous in nature.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.24871 of 2019(3) dt.11-06-2019 2/2 opposed the prayer for bail.

Considering the entire facts, let the petitioner, above named, who is in custody since 23.01.2019, be released on bail after framing of the charges on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Bheja Police Station Case No. 54 of 2016, subject to the condition that the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation/trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
